Stan Greer Millworks is a family owned and operated company and we've been supplying quality products and superior service for three generations. This inherent drive for innovation has been at the heart of our business since it was established in 1980. Today, Garry Greer is following his father's footsteps by leading our team with a pledge to the company's founding principles of integrity, loyalty, and service. Showcasing a wealth of experience, Garry and his son Jason contribute to each project with steadfast supervision and the hope to continue a reputation for total satisfaction. From the humble beginnings of framing houses in Tucson more than 50 years ago grew an enduring family tradition. Stan Greer, an ambitious and dedicated man, once ran the largest framing company in Arizona. Arizona Framers lasted until 1973 when Stan separated from the company and started his own framing company, Stan Greer Carpentry Contractors Inc. Garry Greer grew up pounding nails and hustling 2 x 4s until he earned his position as field foreman for his father. By 1976 Stan's business and the increasing demand for service had taken him and his family to the Sierra Vista area where he would find and later purchase a door shop known at the time as Kingman Millworks. Stan and Doris Greer purchased Kingman Millworks, and in August of 1980 Stan Greer Millworks came to be. Stan Greer Millworks was started with a staff of three employees and an approximately 1,200 square foot shop and office. From that 1980 beginning, we've grown to a staff of over 100, we've expanded at the Hereford location to more than 50,000 square feet under roof, and we're doing major additions and transitions at our Tucson facility. January of 2002 offered Garry and Debbie Greer the opportunity to purchase the company from Garry's mother. The core management changed at this time to Garry Greer as owner and Vice President, Debbie Greer as co-owner and President, Danny Butler as Secretary/Treasurer and Jason Greer as Outside Sales and Marketing. By keeping small business philosophies and a hometown approach we've been able to possess a more natural advantage in providing our customers with the products and service they deserve. For years we kept a narrow market focus in Cochise County. But by maintaining loyal repeat customers that have made the business thrive over the years, we have earned a first class reputation, which has helped us to expand our market. We currently have two convenient locations and the resources to provide complete service to a wide range of clients throughout southern Arizona and Mexico.
